Love the vibe of the place. Great spot to try new beers as they always have a new menu daily. They have events going on all the time, from tap takeovers to trivia on Tuesdays. All of the staff is pretty knowledgable about the beers and are great with recommendations. Id give 5 stars if they brought back that peri peri chicken sandwich.

The plus - Excellent selection of Beers The FAIL - Beers are served tiny 10 ounce Brandy Snifters. $6.95 for a 10 oz brandy snifter of beer? BEER? Really Brandy Snifters? Whose bright idea was that? Why not just use shot glasses. To the owners... Wake up, beers are meant to be served in Pints. Place had potential, Too Bad. Lose the brandy snifters and i would consider trying again.

Great sports bar to go have a couple beers. Selection is huge and they also have great finger foods to munch on. Plenty of televisions so you can watch any game you want. Location is convienetly located near sunlife stadium so it's a great spot to pregame at as an alternative to tailgating.

Eh. Not a bad spot but I would not go out of my way to come here again. I came here on a Monday night, albeit it was NOT busy. The place itself is small with a bunch of TVs and a bunch of tables outside. The service here left much to be desired. I asked the waitress for recommendations on a good light ale and she stared at me with a blank expression and couldn't really give me any good recommendations besides Stella. I was like okay... wasn't in the mood for Stella so I asked for some samples which she brought by after 10 minutes of waiting. I don't mind slow service if it was a packed restaurant, but it was a Monday night and there were maybe 3 tables? Me and my friend ordered chicken wings and french fries, how long do you think it took to make? 20 minutes? Try 45... Yes. 45 minutes for french fries and chicken wings on a dead Monday night. I was pretty disappointed, I figured that if they were great wings I wouldn't mind the wait, but the wings were just okay. Ale House has much better wings. The french fries were good though but you really can't mess that up. I would suggest that you check them out and decide for yourself but do not come here during the week as the waitresses here aren't really that attentive on the slow days, but who knows what you may experience on a weekend. So I must say, the next time I want subpar service I'll come check them out, otherwise I will be at The Pub.

Local favorite. Great place to hang out with friends. Great crowd, wide range of wonderful beer, friendly staff and the live music is a bonus. Highly recommend for happy hour!

The menu is very limited but the ambience is great. They have tvs around to catch the game and great music for Friday night turn up. You do not have to wait to be seated by a host. The service is fast and they make sure to take your order as quick as possible. The only downside when I came is that they had the AC turned off. Is a casual place to grab your favorite American burger. I come here casually and always have a good time. I would like that they turn on the AC though next time.

By far one of the largest craft beer selections in Broward County. Friendly staff and a decent menu. They also do $12 bottomless mimosas on Sunday's during brunch.

Worse service I have ever had. Waitress was dismissive and bar tender watched the game more then he served the bar. Don't Waist Your Time!!!!!!

Okay so I'm at this place right now. Hell, I might even be a little tipsy ( don't drink and yelp ) but screw it, I'm in love! This place is banging. But why go to the brass tap you say? There's lots of places offering craft beers nowadays... Shhhh! Hush I say! Poppycock! Ain't no place like the brass tap! They got craft beers, live music, FOOD (very delicious), AND FREE PARKING! I pity the fool that drives to midtown for WOB. This place is where it's at.

Short version of the update is that they have stepped it up. Beer selections are getting more interesting and they are having some cool events with special taps from time to time. Food still gets a big meh from me though.

It's official I'm a regular here and I have to say I feel like part of the crew! My first time here I came solo something I'm terrified of doing but I have to say the ladies there made me feel at home. With their friendly attitude and excellent customer service, it was apparent that I would definitely return. On my first visit I had the chicken wings which were blackened and had the hot sauce on the side as recommended by the bartender Nick. Really good and it went well with the Pale Ale I was drinking. Second trip I tried the pulled pork sandwich it was good but not out of this world. I understand it's a bar and it's more for beer so I'll let it slide. I am a foodie so my standards are up there! I might give them a suggestion next time I'm there but I will definitely be coming back to try the burgers and other signature dishes. The staff is the best! Down to earth and I was very impressed on what a such a good team they have. They help each other with tables and brining the food out right away. There isn't animosity between waitresses and just the atmosphere is enough to keep me coming back for more. Lastly, the beer selection is remarkable and every time I go I try some tinning different. The bartenders know my taste!

Brass Tapout...this place is subpar. A wide selection of beers is a plus but happy hour prices is more like unhappy hour price. A buck fifty off for draughts only? Hmm...waitress was "egh" she looked like she didn't wanna be there...I got a Stella and it felt small. My girl and I literally sat there for 15 mins...drank out beers and gto right away. Went to The Pub instead. Please check my other review.

I've been a few times and think the place is cool but small and very crowded. It seems like a very laid back but loud vibe and it's often hard to get a hold of your waitress. I've never eaten there although some of the food looks pretty good. Beer options or plentiful but unfortunately the two I had were not at the greatest of temperatures and well... that easily spoils the enjoyment of a good beer. If you're a beer person, you'll enjoy it, if you don't like crowded places, you may not enjoy it, lol. I think there are better options at the Gardens that are less crowded and have better service.

Tried 3 samples of beer and bar tender goes to me "I ain't gonna pour samples all night. You know what you want? " Then this same asshole doesn't even try to make our experience any better. The food came cold and he never came to ask how things were. TERRIBLE SERVICE; he ruined a night out for my fiancée and I. Will NOT be going back!!!

If you're into beer than you're probably into wanting to try this place out. Headed over on Saturday night and they were able to accomodate us along the wall facing the bar. Our waitress was Alexandra and she was awesome! I'm not much of a beer drinker so I opted for a cider she recommended and I was not disappointed. My menu option was the Ultimate Grilled Cheese Panini- grilled sourdough, stuffed with Brie cheese and served with a side of Harissa sauce. I was not a fan of the sauce but my grilled cheese was good all by itself. The CONS would relate to the lack of choices available for vegetarians and/or vegans. Several at the table had a hard time finding something on the menu they could eat. There were two salad choices and when we asked if we could just have some of the vegetables, they said that because they are used as toppings they dont order mass quantities of them and they were out. So the only happy campers were my grilled cheese and I along with the beer drinker across from me. The healthy eating people were just sitting there for moral support as we filled up our bellies enjoying life and happy we weren't the ones craving vegetables.

I love this place, it's one of my regular spots to drink and eat. They certainly have the best chicken in waffles I've ever had. Over 300 craft beer and I think about 43 taps?? Either way the beer selection Is always on point. Service is a little slow but it's always slammed in there so I understand. Give it a try if you haven't!

Fun little bar to have a few drinks with friends. I visited here on a Saturday night with 7 other people. We arrived at 9pm and the place was getting pretty full. Luckily we found a couple open tall tables on the patio and sat ourselves. They have an extensive beer list that gets updated every few days or so. Lots to choose from on the tap menu on the front and even more bottles to pick from listed on the back. The service was a little slow, but I expected that for a Saturday night at a pub/bar location. My friends and I enjoyed being able to try a bunch of beers. They offer a taste if you're not sure about a particular brew, but don't go crazy asking for free samples! We ordered their chicken nachos and pretzel with beer cheese to munch on as we drank to our hearts' content. The cheese dip was a good snack. I mean, you can't go wrong with beer and cheese together. The chicken nachos were ok. A good amount of toppings but the chips weren't as crisp as I'd like them to be. But at least it was a bigger portion size. I wouldn't absolutely go out of my way to return. I mean, maybe if I saw they had a particular beer I've been wanting to try on tap then I may make the effort. But overall this place was just OK. Nothing stood out as a must-try and nothing stood out as an avoid-at-all-cost.

Good beer. Staff really friendly and gave great recommendations on beers. But didn't have food only because vegetarian options are so much better at other places in this mall.

Beer, beer and more beer! I've been here a few times already, and The Brass Tap just brings a good vibe to catch up with friends or just to have an easy and cool vibe at night. They have a pretty great choice of beers in tap and bottle and their food is pretty food (Buffalo chicken dip and I heard their pork sliders are good). Don't go here if you're super duper hungry, because their menu is more of finger foods, not really a full meal. I always go on a weekday night and the atmosphere is nice, casual and it was not too loud for my taste (I can still hear my whole group's conversation). This place is kinda tight, so my suggestion is to come with an intimate group. The staff is knowledgable in their beers. Aside from the beers, they also have wines too. There's tv's all around, so you can watch your sports games or whatever channel you fancy. You can definitely sample the beers on tap. Overall it's a good place to chill and enjoy a beer. .

I've been here a few times. If you are not a beer drinker this might not be the place for you. They have a very good selection. The wings are usually good but during my last visit yesterday they were very greasy. I will overlook it because they have been good in the past and the waitress was very nice.

I want to try this place again one day soon. It was International Beer Day so we chose a beer spot. The vibe looked nice. It almost felt like the well renowned TV bar, Cheers because everyone seemed to know one another. It was early (maybe 6pm) when we arrived but we had our four year old so we decided to sit outside away from the loud music (which had some profanity) and the more adult crowd. Hubby and I each ordered a beer but I ordered one on the lighter side as far as alcohol content (because I didn't want to get a buzz while I was with my child) and we ordered food. I opted for the fish and chips, my daughter had chicken fingers and fries and my husband ordered chicken and waffles. I can't say I enjoyed my fish and chips. The fries were cooked until they were brown and too crunchy. My daughter also had fries so I ate some of hers instead because they were cooked better. My fish resembled fish sticks and didn't have much flavor and they were a bit too fishy (like frozen fish usually is). My daughter seemed to enjoy her chicken fingers though and my husband finished his food so I assume their food was ok. My husband didn't make his typical face when he takes that first bite of food that tastes really good so I assume it was just edible but I didn't ask. The atmosphere was cool. I would love to go back one day, try other beers and better food when my husband and I can find a sitter. I personally didn't find the place very kid friendly so next time, I'll leave her home. The real hint was, they had no crayons or kids menu...Lol!

Hands down best beer selection in the area. I love trying new beers every time I come. They have an absurd amount of beers to choose from and the servers and bar tenders are pretty helpful at helping you choose a beer that you would like. I love coming here on the weekends with my friends and having a couple, especially since Pembroke Pines lacks good bars. The live music can be too loud sometimes though.

NPS = 8 Nice little bar in Pembroke Pines! Wow, I was not expecting that marvelous experience! The bar features over 370 (if I remember correctly...but who is counting!) beers. And there are several other beers that are rotated so you never know what beers this place will have on tap or in bottles. You can also join a Brew Crew club for $15 which gets you a t-shirt and a "passport" card (very much a la DRB in Midtown..but this one costs you money) where you can keep track of the beers you buy and try. There is a leader board for the Brew Crew posted on the board as you walk in and impressively enough, one patron has purchased over 300 something beers. Talk about 20% of your customers doing 80% of your business...this guy is putting the Brass Tap owner's kids through college! The service was awesome and I wish I remembered our waitresses name because she was really helpful. We did not try the food, but I would not recommend you coming to this place to eat. One of the reasons I loved this place so much was the vibe. There was live music and the guy was ROCKING. OUT. He looked like he was having the time of his life, playing the guitar like a riot, and the crowd was LOVING it. Everybody in the place was singing (or yelling) at the top of their lungs to this guys songs. Great atmosphere and great times. I will be back.

Yes! Another watering hole in the Pines area close to home. The Brass Tap brings another beer bar and ambiance to the community where one can just stroll in and enjoy a craft brew. The selection is plentiful in both draft and bottle/can. The service has improved over the few times that I've frequented. So a big thumbs up to the staff! The prices are just a tad overpriced as I can pick out several items that I can pick out that is a big fraction of the price at the local bar in the area. The food is okay. Nothing to rave about... Pretzel bites are good, especially when you dip it in the beer cheese sauce. Wedge salad. Not so wedgey...more like little chunks and loaded with dressing. Goat cheese does make it a lil' different in taste and texture. As for now, that's all I've got, update soon to come since I know I'll be dropping again and giving them another try...

Nice bar in an always fun location. I can't comment on the food because I only only sampled beers. But this is in the top 3 of cool bars in Pembroke Gardens. Its on a little quieter ends of the mall. The menu is unique, one day we will eat there.

If you want to order the spinach artichoke dip and think you are getting chunks of artichoke you are not more chesse and spinach no artichoke. Ornery them that the beer selection is great. Beer served nice and cold.

I'm generously giving this place one star, only because the food was decent. We were a party of 8, which if the place wasn't deserted could have posed an issue. We each ordered an entree and a few apps for the table. 5 of the entrees came out first, and just as we finished them, the other three came out. Then our apps slowly started arriving... And the weirdness was never once acknowledged by our server. We had to beg for plates and silverware besides. Absolutely ridiculous. Terrible terrible service.

I was so excited for a new place in Pembroke Pines with potentially good food and great beers. Unfortunately though, Brass Tap fell short of my expectations. The beers were.. ehh ok. The bar was definitely well stacked with TVs; however, we came here to watch the Colombia world cup game and they lost their satellite connection before the half and never got it back. Everything that we ordered was terrible and definitely not worth the money. They didn't even have celery to serve with their wings. We got the pretzels with the beer cheese dip. The beer cheese dip was seriously the velveeta cheese that comes in that squeeze foil container with your packaged macaroni and cheese. We also ordered the Mexican chicken flatbread. The chicken tasted like that pre-packaged chicken they sell at Publix for salads.. It was disgusting. It tasted like fast food. Literally gagging at the thought. If you don't have a kitchen to cook things, better not to serve food. And if you do have a kitchen and you refuse to cook in it, better not to serve food. I will not go back here.

I've been here many times. I hate to admit it, but I am a beer snob. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is great. The crowd is usually a chill group of people. They occasionally have some hard to find beers on tap, like the Dogfish Head 120 I'm currently enjoying on this visit. They're having a Bourbon County release tomorrow. This place is fairly new so I can't speak for the maintenance of the beer lines, but knowing other The Brass Tap locations, they'll be regularly cleaned so you'll get fresh and great tasting beer. They also have wines for your friends that don't drink beer. The cigar selection is small, but they stock the better of the mainstream cigars. The food is good on average and reasonably priced. The fish and chips are only okay. I like the chicken and waffles. The baked pretzels with beer cheese dip is my go to when I just want to snack on something while having a drink. I haven't had any of the flatbreads or burgers, but they look delicious. The crowd is chill, which is typical for a beer bar so the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The background music is usually good. Great place to watch games.

The craft beer version of World of Beer. Brass Tap is identical to World of Beer in that they have a whole wall full of taps behind the bar where they serve ice cold beer; the difference is that they sell only craft beers and some international beers. The servers and bartenders are very attentive and are very knowledgeable about the beers threy serve. They also have what's called club called "Brew Crew" where for a fee you get a membership card whereby you collect points based on how many beers you drink; the more beers you drink the better the rewards are. It's a cool concept, identical to the one that WOB has. Another main difference between this and WOB is that they have a food menu unlike WOB (although WOB is planning a food menu to come); the food is so-so; doesn't really appeal to me. Other than that, it's a nice place to sit, relax, listen to music, watch sports and drink good craft beers

Beer. What else can I write? They have 30+ beers on tap and many more in bottles. Its got a sports bar atmosphere with huge flat screens all over. I didn't try the food but this place has speciality beers ON TAP that I haven't seen anywhere else. I drank a few hard to find "ghost beers" and bragged to all my friends.. fun!

I wanted to check this place out because they will be opening a new location in Coral Springs, which is closer to where I reside. It also provided me an opportunity to travel from Pompano Beach to Pembroke Pines on a Sunday afternoon. Located in the Shops of Pembroke Gardens, right off of I75, the Brass Tap is a relatively new addition. (Note: The Yelp map is kind of messed up and has this place located a couple miles east of its actual location). I really enjoyed this place. The gents behind the bar were very sports savvy, which is a cool attribute and a somewhat lost art of bar-tending. A host of us were watching the Miami Heat play the Chicago Bulls, and there were good conversations taking place. Obviously, this place has a solid selection of beers on tap. I opted for the Funky Buddah Floridian, which is quickly establishing itself as my favorite beer. I typically order it whenever I see it. The highlight, for me, was the soft, freshly baked pretzels. The salt sprinkled on top is actually spicey, and encouraged me to wash it down with a frosty beverage (they recommend which type of beer to drink with each appetizer on the menu). The pretzel arrives with a spicey brown, honey-mustard dipping sauce. Very good. Looking forward to the Coral Springs location. Well worth the trip.

Fun place to visit. Good atmosphere and great selection of beer. Why not a 5 star? It try's to be a Cheers feel but when you walk in the bartenders don't even realize you regularly come to this place. Their service is very poor but selection of beers is outstanding. My point is you have one thing to do pour beer and do it with a smile!!!

Great spot to try out many beers. The concept of brass tap is ingenious. There are an obscene amount of beers available on tap and in bottles. Not to mention, there are bar inspired favorites available to munch on while you enjoy your suds.

Huge selection of beer - both draft and bottled - and prices are reasonable. A good place to hang out with a small group of friends but it can get pretty cramped since the place is small. I came to catch up with a few friends that I hadn't seen in years and it looked pretty crowded inside so we picked a table in the outdoor patio and the entire time was a struggle to hear each other. Keep in mind that we went on a random Thursday night when no sporting event was going on, and it was still rowdier than I would have liked. My main issue, however, was that the outdoor area is not closed off from the "indoor" area so no matter where we sat, we were constantly breathing in whatever the people around us were smoking, whether it be cigarettes or whatever else. Other than that, we ordered some food to go along with our drinks (typical bar food) and although the fries were a bit bland, I was actually surprised to find that the pulled chicken sandwich was really good and my friends seemed to enjoy their buffalo chicken sandwiches. Would I come back to grab a beer with some friends? Sure. The service was definitely quick and adequate and the location is convenient, even though the parking at Pembroke Gardens can get pretty horrendous for some reason.

Just go for the BEER! Please, take it from me! If it wasn't for the solid beer selection I would rename this restaurant "The Crap Tap".. Yes, the food selection is that awful. Me and my other half commenced the night with the Buffalo Chicken Dip, which claims to have "shredded chicken" in it buuut more like shredded ass hairs. On a lighter note, The Bacon & Cheese Pub Burger was ehhh average but it was a decent size for the hungry beer bears out there. They are skimp on the waffle fries and it just did not meet my expectations. For that just walk about a couple of blocks down and hit up "The Pub", a little pricey, but you pay for slightly better food. We should've taken the hint when the waiter said the food selection was not up to par.. Sadly I will not be returning to the Brass Tap anytime soon.

I was there for trivia night on Tuesday, and I really liked the place. 1. The beer selection is impressive for an "out-west" bar! I was provided with the beer choices sorted out by type (IPA, Ciders, etc.) and alcohol content. It was very neat. 2. The service was pretty good, and very friendly. This is a "seat yourself" establishment, and my party (3 folks) had to settle for a small table close to the entrance. As soon as we sat, we had a waitress welcoming us, and told us about the drink specials. 3. The whole place seemed to be very clean including the "facilities" in a very busy night. Just like Arnold in Terminator 2 "I'll be back".

Word of this place has been making its way around the ole' yelp watering hole and I had always read good things. But like an overly anticipated movie, I felt this place was too over-hyped. I passed up Bru's Room on a Wednesday night to check this place out. Walking in I noticed there was a decent crowd. It looked to be mostly working professionals out for a mid-week drink... cool, cool. There are plenty of TVs so we found a great spot to sit and watch the game. The server greeted us after a few minutes and recommended a few of their craft beers. She offered to bring samples. Great! And then we waited... my impression of the place began to go south right around this point. Although friendly, the service was slow and barely existent and we were not visited after food orders were delivered. I could have gone for another glass but the server never looked our way. Additionally, the prime rib nachos were cold and the taste was somewhat bland. I have never ordered a pulled pork sandwich I didn't like, but The Brass Tap is now a first. However, the chicken tacos were excellent and perfect in temperature since they accidentally brought fish tacos at first and had to replace them; the one thing done quickly and efficiently. I noticed another table also received the wrong order too. Big let down! 2 1/2 stars.

Really like this place. It seems a bit pricey and doesn't offer many specials, I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't charging $6-10 for small beers. Food is okay, burgers are great! Service is nice too. I come here often. Will be returning!

I was invited to this place nearby my new home, that I had never heard of by a friend who is also relatively new to Florida. Both from New York, we had similar interests and figured I would give it a shot since it's full of different types of beer. I love beer. Within minutes of being at the Tap as we call it, I was immediately welcomed into the family, joining the Brew Crew right away. I mean, incentives for drinking beer? How much better does it get?! Unlike world of beer, you're able to make close relationships with the staff, as evidenced by the fact that Nate remembers every beer I've already had and is ready to introduce me to new flavors to introduce my palate to based on what he knows I like. He's pretty much the best guy ever. I was only expecting great beer and stumbled upon many other greats. Great food that hits all the fan favorites along with some dishes you wouldn't expect at a bar. It's pretty neat how they incorporate alcohol in a lot of their selections of food. Great atmosphere, fully loaded with tvs always showing a variety of sports and great shows. They even dedicate a night to watching Drunk History and I feel as though I'm at my good buddy's house watching some tv chilling on the couch. Great music, allowing guests to recommend songs, like Chandelier, 15 times in the night, and not to mention high quality live music with artists who are just as laid back as the staff. Great trivia nights, with an awesome host Stephanie who has a huge personality and her jokes really pack a punch. I'd swipe right for her. They even let you keep the glass you're drinking out of on nights they have specials, which appears to be very frequent as my glassware collection at home is expanding immensely in a short amount of time. Overall, the staff is very friendly and personable and I'm glad I've found a home at The Tap. ***just kidding...Ashley is the best person ever. Nate is pretty cool, but he's not Ashley***

My husband and I love this place. We are new parents so we try to sneak out once a week and this is usually our go to spot. We love the selection of beer and also their food! I must say the best thing is their buffalo chicken dip! It's heaven in your mouth. The reason we are not giving this 5 stars is because usually they seem to be understaffed. Other than that this place is great and an awesome chill spot!

So this is the second time I've come to this beer spot .. The beer selection is fabulous .. Ranging from relatively cheap to expensive on the beer scale .. Great selection of beer for every type of drinker .. I only have one issue with Brass Tap, while the food I ordered was quite tastey ( chicken tacos ) I feel as if the portion was made for an infant. It was very plain and seemed as if I had ordered a kids meal. Other than that, I throughly enjoyed the selection of beer and the service was great, very friendly and helpful with selecting the appropriate beverage for ones taste. I'd def recommend for any beer lover or newbie when it comes to beer drinking.

Great service by Letti! The pretzels were off the chain! Wedge salad was generous portion. Reasonably priced with great atmosphere! Flat screen TVs everywhere to watch the games! And both indoor and outdoor seating! Will be back for sure!

I've been to this location on two separate occasions now, both on a Friday night. Apparently on Friday and Saturday evenings, the bar has local bands come and perform. I'm all for live music and totally support it, but the bar is too small, and the music is too loud. My friends and I were actually screaming at one another and it was extremely difficult to hold a conversation or hear what someone across the table was saying. Aside from this, the bar has a plethora of beers on tap and the servers are all friendly and full of suggestions depending on your beer palate. Considering Pembroke Pines' lack of good bars, this place is definitely welcome. The food and drink menu is reasonably priced, and they have some pretty rare beers on tap. On my first visit, the server recommended I try Delirium and I loved it, it's been my go-to order at this bar. As for food, I've only ever eaten the spinach & artichoke dip from here, which was alright - sub par at best. Overall, this bar is a great place for good beer, but I would recommend avoiding it on a Friday or Saturday night. I know they hold other events on other days of the week, like trivia on Tuesdays, so one of these nights might be better if you're hoping to chat easily with friends.

The atmosphere was great to grab some beer, listen to music and watch sports. However... The food was terrible. The Mac and cheese literally tasted like they just poured nacho cheese on it and called it a day. I should've known because when I asked the waitress how it was she said "well it's Mac and cheese with bacon on top" and shrugged. I even went with the chicken tenders because I figured "well you can't go wrong with this" - fries weren't even crispy and the chicken tenders were tiny. Save your money and just go for the beer.

Brass tap is small but the customer service is so grade A the servers are super friendly and the drinks are beers only but so many to choose from makes every-time you go new again. The food is not great though maybe cause of the selection

The spiciest salsa and chips I have ever had a bar! Beware! The one man band and music was great & definitely set the bar mood. There was a variety of beers to choose from but they kept running out of beers we were having. I need to go back a try other food items but I can say that the plates of food I saw did look appealing.

Very good beer selection, limited wine selection and if I could ever get here in time, to eat, the food is OK. I work till late and manage to get here by 11:30 and the kitchen is never open. In fact, tonight, the waitress literally snatched the food menu off my table after I had already reviewed it. Not sure what's so difficult about offering a few options for snacking that maybe don't require cooking. They're supposed to be open till 2 AM so I think it's the responsible thing to do. Frankly, I don't think the waitresses are that attentive or nice.

Huge variety of beer here!! If you enjoy trying different beer then this is definitely the place for you!! The staff is knowledgeable of their product, different activities going on every night and plenty of tv's. Man, writing this review made my mouth water for a nice cold beer!!

I had really high hopes for The Brass Tap, all of which slowly diminished throughout the night. The best thing I can say about this place is they have an awesome selection of alcoholic beverages, everything else left a lot to be desired. All the food we ordered was okay at best, which isn't good considering The Pub is in the same plaza. The meat lovers pizza was a little bigger the size of a hand and had barely any meat on it. Every portion was small and looked thrown together in a hurry. I could see past the "meh" food because of the beer and friendly staff. But what I can't see past is the music. It was SOOOOO LOUD that our table couldn't keep any sort of conversation going. By the time we left I couldn't hear anything but ringing. Overall, I was super disappointed with this place. Even with the huge selection of drinks I can't see myself coming back anytime soon.

I guess happy hour at a bar for a group of kids under the age of 8 is a thing now? So, I went on Tuesday night to check out their trivia night from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. I had a living social deal, so why not.... I walked in around 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As I sit down, three soccer moms with about eight kids all under the age of 8 came in and sat down. I felt like I was at a Chuck E Cheese, not a place called The Brass Tap. Why in your right mind would you think this is an appropriate place to take a large group of children? With all the other family friendly restaurants in the area, why would you go there??? Are kids going to be allowed into strip clubs next? Where do we draw the line? I sat there in shock as did the rest of the adult patrons when they sat down. I can't believe the waitress or management did not say something to the soccer moms. There is a sign on the door, that states after 8 p.m. no one under 21 allowed. Does management not realize allowing large groups of children in during happy hour will really hurt their business of beer paying customers? Do you think all those kids bought beers? What do you think is more profitable... me buying multiple $6 beers, or a bunch of kids ordering waters, and three soccer moms ordering a beer each? I tried ordering the kids a round of beers and sending it over to their table, but I guess kids don't drink beer?!!?? Anyway, trivia started around 7:00 p.m., which was terrible by the way. I'll get into that later. I did get a jab in at them by naming my team "I love kids at bars!" So as trivia starts going , one of the trivia questions was about cereal. When the announcer reads the questions, the kids scream the answer out. How fun is that? URGH! I think I actually heard people's eyes rolling when that happened. On to the trivia, the announcer of the questions was barely audible. Also, he could not even pronounce half of the questions. I have been to trivia nights at Ye Olde Falcon Pub and it is excellent. That is how you do trivia. This took forever and you had to go up after each question and bring the host your answer. It was annoying. And, the food is nothing to write home about. It is meh. I expect that though. My husband was annoyed that they didn't have standard yellow mustard. You would think that they would at least have a bottle of the cheapest condiment. I really tried to like this place, but with so many places offering better craft beer selections and food, I will take my business elsewhere.

I am super surprised at how much I liked this place. Being that out of our group of three, two are currently not into beer, all three of us still left very, very happy. One in the group had beer. Lots of taps, lots of local choices. We tried the fish tacos, which were super tasty, the fried fish sliders, which were also super delicious (though I preferred the tacos, but the other 2 people preferred the sliders), and all of us had garden salads which were really, really tasty (goat cheese and grilled lavash = win). I also liked that they give you options to order 2 or 3 tacos or sliders, and whether you want to add fries or not, since this allowed us all to order smaller portions and share with each other. It also kept the price lower than if we'd all been forced to get platters with fries. Given the not so stellar ratings, I was not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the food and beer offerings. I'm glad to have another option to The Pub, since I've experienced their crazy long lines on busy nights.

I must say I'm glad a place like this is now in Pines. Great place to hang out with friends and grab some decent craft brews. However for some reason they always seem to be out of the brews I want. But there's always one in the list to drink. Food is no good if you go there starving. It's just good for munchies while drinking beer with friends.

This is a new place that opened across from Lime and I was excited to try it. Stopped in Saturday night with my girlfriend to experience the new place. It got off to a bad start! We walked in and was greeted by no one. Standing there for a minute we caught the bartenders attention and asked if there was a host to seat us. The bartender said you can just sit anywhere, preferably at the bar but if not we wont be offended. We took a table and my girl went to the restroom. While she was gone I sat ignored by 2 servers who walked up to two tables right by me but never asked me if I wanted anything or providing me a menu. When my lady returned to the table she asked if anyone helped us I said nope. Told her lets go and went across the street to Lime. This place look ok the set up is a little disorganized and the service needs some training so hopefully they will get it together and we will go back again one day and try them out but until then I wish them success.

Beer awesome Food awesome Staff horrible The reason why I go back to a establishment is because of the staff, and the environment they create. They created no environment and made me feel like I was bothering them.... There are several places in the plaza that have good beer amazing food with a awesome staff... Very disappointed :/ Thought this could be a new hang out...

This place just opened up on the 21st so I think I'll excuse any disorganization that might occur so early on. Besides, IT'S A BEER PUB. Think World of Beer but with an actual kitchen that serves very good food. Has live music and TV's all over the place so you could watch any sporting event while having some GREAT beer. And about the beer, 70+ beers on tap many of which support the South Florida craft beer explosion. All from Cigar City to Wynwood. Many of which will be on tap year long. Menu gives you a vast amount of information so you could choose or if you want you can ask for a small sample.

What a great addition to The Shops at Pembroke Gardens. Situated on the south end of the shops right next to DSW and the future Segafredo. This little hole-in-the-wall is a beer lovers dream! I don't know exactly how many beers they have on tap, but it's a lot. And they also have a lot of beer bottle selection. Came here on a Saturday during a Heat game around 7:30-8:00. No one greeted me, so it's obvious you sit where you like. I grabbed a 4 person booth while I waited for my friend to arrive. Immediately I was greeted by our waitress who asked what I wanted to drink, "Fat Tire please!". They serve your beer in it's respective glass, meaning, mine came in a New Belgium Fat Tire. Once my friend arrived, she had more trouble picking a beer but our waitress was more than happy to suggest beers. We ordered some apps., the pretzel cheese dip with Samuel Adams. Yes, it's made with beer. It was delicious. I ordered the Mexican flat bread which wasn't all that great. But fulfilling. As the night progressed I had 4 more friends join us. We were all a little crammed in there but the waitress was more than happy to wait our ever growing table. Looks like on the weekends they have a live band, which was extremely loud and you could barely hear the person in front of you. They allow you to take your beer outside for a smoke break. But just directly in front of the door. If you plan on coming here during the weekend, arrive early or you won't find a table.

Love this place. Great small bar with a ton of tvs and an EXTENSIVE selection of beers. Perfect spot especially if you're looking for a place a little later in the evening since pines does not have many places open late. Fridays and Saturdays they have a live band which gives the bar a great atmosphere. Pines definitely needs more places like this. Bartenders are some of the friendliest I met!

I liked it. Lots of TVs to watch a game, a great selection of beers including FL breweries too. The food is a little high but good and much needed with some drinks. I know these types of places are popping up everywhere, but the location is good and much needed if you don't want to drive to a world of beer.

When I travel a bar always seems to find me. I take a seat, chat with the bartenders, the locals and just have a great time ... when it's time to go home I get left with the "why can't this be 'my bar' feeling". I've only been here twice but I can't help feeling that I may have found my bar. For a girl who gets excited about trying new beers this place is sure to hold my attention for some time, needless to say I will be back soon!

I really like this place and will definitely be back. Love that there are so many beers to try. I didn't have any food this time but the menu options looked delicious. They also give you beer pairings for each food option. There is also live music Thursday through Saturday.

My husband and I went here after hearing that they had $0.50 wings on Wednesdays and decided to give it a try. It's a small place, but seating was comfortable and we had no issues due to the place being moderately packed. We had the option to seat ourselves anywhere and we decided to eat inside since it was a little chilly at night. The high chairs were very cozy. We ordered a mixture of chipotle and bar-b-q wings. My husband originally wanted 12 wings but was told by the waitress we could only order 10, 15 or 20 wings each as part of the deal. So my husband took 15 wings and I had 10 wings. They had a pretty nice beer and wine selection and we both had a Funky Buddha Nip Smuggler. It was also ladies night which was half off selected taps and wines. The services was pretty great and the noise level was average for a bar and we were able to have a conversation without having to yell our lungs off at each other. We were even able to watch a basketball game with multiple flat screens surrounding the bar. The wings were pretty good, I recommend the chipotle wings. Overall it's a nice little bar to hangout at that has different events throughout the week.

Great variety of beers on tap. Our bartender Boo was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with assisting my girlfriend select a beer she enjoyed. Entire staff was very friendly. He has the BBQ Pork sliders which were awesome! My girlfriend had the Panini grilled cheese which was equally fantastic. Lots of TVs playing all your favorite games. Great little outside patio area so you can people watching and enjoy the weather. We will definitely be back!

This place is one of the only late night drinking spots in the area that offers a large array of craft beer. Overall a good atmosphere. There is live music by a guy and his guitar from time to time, but for a small venue, it gets way too loud. I've never really ordered food from this place, once ordered fries to munch on, it was nothing spectacular. They do periodically have limited released, expect to pay a premium, were talking $20+ a bottle.

Being that I'm in the biz this was probably the worst service I've gotten in a while. We came on a Saturday at 5 sat at the bar. The bartender was doing nothing but complaining to the other bartender about her guests. They both looked extremely miserable and were very un attentive. After I finished my beer I sat for about ten minutes and no one ever asked me if I wanted something else. I then asked for my tab and cashed out. Mental note to self never to come back here again.

We decided to try this place today. Service is good, drinks are good but food is bad. Appetizers are ok very small plates and a littler over priced. Do not get the nachos!!! They are $12 bucks and they are by far the worst nachos I ever had. Good for drinks but bad for food!

Sooo....disappointed! I used to come for $1 tacos Tuesdays. ..and without warning...now its only good till 5?!?!? Really?!?!? What kind of happy hour is that? And there are only 2 waitresses? It was packed, and only 2 ladies helping out. Don't know if I'll come back... sorry guys you lost us when you ditched $1 tacos :(

This place has a decent beer selection, but not a great place for food. Had the fries with beer cheese and bacon, very plain and not worth getting again. They have a cool beer promo where you receive 1 point for every dollar you spend that go towards future savings and promo t-shirts. I will be returning for some of their promotional beer nights!

Plenty of beers and good beer flights. Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of tables as the day progressed it began to get full. Great place to relax and watch some march madness. We had the Yuengling fish and chips and the BBQ pork tacos. We had the beer flight . plenty of beers to choose from. They seem to have specials every day and we had just missed the Sunday Funday brunch when we arrived. Will be back to try seemd good.

Very disorganized. We walked in on a Saturday night for dinner (the front entrance looks like it's the back door) and had to walk up to the bar to ask if we should wait to be seated or seat ourselves. We were told we could sit anywhere. We grabbed an open booth and waited approximately 10-15 minutes without anyone coming over to greet us or provide us with a menu. We left.

  • Jackie P.

They have a vast selection of beer, the menu was more like a book lol. THe waitress was very friendly, attentive, and fairly quick with delivery despite the size of our group (10 ppl) and the place was pretty packed. Though, the menu for food left more to be desired. I mean I know this is a small bar and an extensive menu is not expected but the items that were on the menu really didn't call my attention. I finally ordered the prime rib nachos and the Samuel Adams beer cheese dip. I was not moved by either.

    (3)
  • Vivianne A.

Food was late. Over baked, burned. 2 hours for food to come. Only one person in the kitchen and one person on the floor serving but 2 people serving at the bar! According to the server that was the norm!

My husband and I went for his birthday. I wanted to take him somewhere different for his birthday. We loved the different selections of beer that they had. Their food was not that great. The only food item that we ordered, that was any good, was the pizza. Their bartender was great. I wouldn't recommend this place for food but the atmosphere is fun and the beer is good. Great to go watch games. Just eat before you go.

Was so excited to try new place. What a disappointment was a Monday night nov 10, 2014. Was seated and waited a little to put my drink order. Notice one waitress running all of 10 plus tables, thought maybe someone was at break. Order my food and waited waited . The poor girls was doing the best but honestly I thought that was unacceptable from management. Called her and ask her if she was the only one she answer yes on Mondays . Well my husbands fries came after his sandwich was finish. I saw three man behind the bar laughing and showing each other stuff on their cell phone. When I ask her to speak to the manager to my surprise one of them was the manager. Who as a manager don't care about the customers to help ?? Come on I will never come to a place where they treat their employees and customers to such degrading way. Food was like child size my flat bread was super tiny and my daughters taco well let's put it this way it was for a two year old never seen tacos this small. Save your money and don't promote abuse in the work place. We all need a job but this kind of abuse is disgusting to me. Left there with a sour taste and very upset. WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK HERE!!!! BAD MANAGEMENT , AND SMALL PORTIONS. GREAT IF YOU COUNTING CALORIES LMAO. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

This place has SO much potential. The inside is really nice, big flat screens, nice decor and good food. I recommend the beer cheese pretzels! The beer selection is fantastic, always getting in new beers! So now its time to address the issue that's definitely hurting business and is the reason why we kept watching people walk out. The service is just horrible! This is coming from 2 people who are servers BTW... There is no one to greet you or direct you where to sit, so you walk in seemingly unnoticed, you can either grab a seat at the bar or sit at a table that feels like a ghost town. Youre passed by at least 3 servers who act like they're sleepwalking.. Walk up to you after being informed they got sat by the bartender (who is the only guy working) and get some half assed 'hi do you still need a minute?' Like where is the friendly timely greeting, or the 'let me help you find a beer you might like'.... I mean they're supposed to be the experts selling their product. I just felt like we were annoying her. We asked for a sample and who came up after 5 minutes was a totally different server.. While I watched (who we thought was our server) texting in plain sight. At least try to hide from the guest? What was supposed to be a fun Sunday afternoon turned into us doing nothing but talk about how crappy the service was and where we were going to take our business instead. Very disappointed. This place could be an awesome local hangout but they need to train their staff on professionalism a little more first.

After driving by this place and reading the menu online I knew we had to stop in. That's where things went downhill for me. The food was mediocre and service was the pitts. The wait staff wasn't familiar with the draft beers. Given the choice I would go with world of beers when looking for a place with a good beer selection. To me the food wasn't even a factor at this place. I do have do give credit to the menu writers. They did a great job of hyping regular French fries and sandwiches.

I'm so happy that the "north" side is catching up on the craft beer scene. A 10-minute drive north on I-75, sure beats having to hike down to mid-town or the gables for some good beer. The selection is pretty good. They carry my faves- Palm Amber and Delerium Tremens , so I was definately a happy camper. The place is uber casual. No hostess, just grab an open table or booth and sit yourself down. The bar-bites are OK. I wouldn't say this is a "gastro-pub", but they accompanied by brew pretty well. I had the pulled pork sliders, whihc were quite yummy and my husband had the fish tacos, whihc he devoured. If you have a hearty appetite, I would recommend that you eat before coming hear. Otherwise, you may leave a bit dissapointed. I came here for the beer and left content. There is a stage upstairs which our friendly waitress told us will soon host local bands and such. So I'm excited to see what comes. I will definately be back to the Brass Tap!

Obviously a great beer selection, but the staff is what made the experience for me!! Our waitress was so patient in helping us find the best beer; even encouraging us to try some that we didn't think we would like. The food was yummy too! Definitely a great pit stop during your shopping adventures!

The worse service I have ever received , EVER, by a short fat white girl !!!!! I was told that I could sample a beer before ordering , the waitress after 15 minutes of sitting finally showed up to take our order , followed by another 20 minutes to bring us a sample with an attitude !!! We ordered our beer , after 20 minutes of wait we decided to leave & never come back again !!!! Oh , music was soooooo loud I could not listen to my own thoughts !!! There are many other busier bars in Pembroke lakes with much better service , Don't waste your $$$ or your time here ...

This is a new establishment that needs a lot of help. It is extremely small and crowded. A lot of the seating is at long tables with bar stools where you are sharing and basically sitting on top of people you don't know. I had to wait for the first beer I ordered because they had to change the tap. Then they came back and told me they were out of it. I ordered a different beer that didn't come for a very long time. I ordered a second beer that, again, they were out of. My boyfriend also ordered a beer that they didn't have. The had a hand written sign over the bar advertising the band that would start at 9:00. There was no band. Our waitress was very nice, but was apparently waiting on far too many tables. Another waitress actually came to wait on us because she saw us sitting with so service for a very long time and thought nobody had waited on us. Suddenly, our waitress appeared to reclaim her part of the table. We ordered food that was very average. After we were finally able to order our food, we waited a ridiculous amount of time again. The people who were seated beside us came in well after we did, ordered after us and then received their food long before we did. We originally thought our waitress had forgotten to place our order, but after tracking her down and receiving our food, we decided that she had just forgotten to pick it up. The grilled cheese panini arrived to the table cold and damp. The chicken panini was also just fair. We were excited to see his new establishment open in Pembroke Gardens but were disappointed by our experience.

Friendly staff, but the food is disappointing for the decor and vibe of the place! I've had the pretzels, fish and chips, and the caprese flatbread pizza, and they were pretty bland. I love the atmosphere and the daily specials, but all I'm saying is eat before you come!

Beer was good, the layout is a little loud and overwhelming. My husband and I had already eaten so we just joined friends for a few drinks. My friend ordered a slider (chicken, came with cabbage) and discovered what appeared to be a 4 inch long fried piece of hair in his sandwich (yummy). People have hair, hair falls out, we get it, no big deal. What WAS a big deal (and the reason for 2 stars) was the waitress arguing with my friend that first it was a piece of chicken (no) and then that it's a piece if cabbage (no). She made the entire transaction super awkward because she immediately got defensive over something that most people would alert a waitress about. If your customer is showing you something that undoubtably resembles a piece of hair try to fix the situation without an attitude. (I didn't do a damn DNA analysis on it so who the f knows, but I have been around for 26 years and have had hair for around 25 of those years...I think I can identify what is hair vs. what is food... But I digress). I heard this place is relatively new so if that's the case they may want to brush (hehe) their waitresses up on proper protocol when customers find non-food materials in their food.

Good Beer selection and service was good..Don't recommend the food. Panini was toasted white bread with 3 oz's of chicken. Nacho's had a small portion of meat with cheese whiz on potato chips. Will probably eat before I go back.
